• Cape Collectors are the baddest badasses on the BPHA payroll, so they rarely get called in for any job that ranks lower than a potential national emergency. When Vee Kim, the lieutenant of the Valkyrie squad, is tapped for a security detail at a posthuman high school in Glass Hills, she feels like she's being forced to watch the kiddie pool. Joined by Mo, a gold-band from the Mercury squad, Ramon, the pink-band lieutenant of the Black Shucks, and a former member of the purple-band-only Anubis team, Vee feels like their considerable talents are being wasted.
